Last updated: 5 November 2026. Mirrorchat is entertainment. It is not the person and never will be.

Your chat export is parsed on your device. The archive is not uploaded to us for parsing.
Parsed messages, episodes and chat turns stay in local storage. The saved persona/thread snapshot is encrypted with AES-256-GCM; the key is kept in Android Keystore.
You can delete the file and archive at any time from Settings. Delete removes the local snapshot and the local key.

When a persona is built or a reply is generated, a compact prompt is sent through our Cloudflare Worker to our inference provider, OpenCode Go. It can contain measured stats, a stratified sample of messages, retrieved snippets and the recent conversation needed to answer.
The Worker does not store message content. Its D1 database stores only an install id, a UTC day, message count and token counts. We do not train on your data.
If you enable an account, Supabase Auth stores your email and session; the archive is still not uploaded.

The app is ad-supported. Rewarded ads are optional; banners appear only outside the chat. There are no ads inside a conversation.
Google AdMob may collect device/ad identifiers under its own policy. Current beta builds use test ad units and do not earn revenue.

You can stay a guest and keep everything local.
You can delete the file from Settings. Hosted account deletion is available by request on the account deletion page; we remove it manually in the beta.
The product is 18+. Do not upload a minor's chat or a chat you do not have the right to use.
